About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Emergency Operations Administrator to join our team and support the Local Operational Management Team in delivering exceptional Emergency Operational Ambulance Services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of ambulance services and ensure effective administrative support is provided to our managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day administrative duties to assist the operational management team, including HR paperwork, ad hoc reports, and information gathering for complaints.
  • Undertake secretarial responsibilities, preparing documents with high accuracy for the Emergency Operational Management Team, including confidential correspondence and reports.
  • Facilitate the planning and coordination of staff training programmes, ensuring proper communication regarding logistics, and updating relevant records.
  • Participate in formal meetings, taking notes and minutes, and preparing and distributing agendas and supporting documents.
  • Establish and maintain efficient office systems, both paper and electronic, to a high standard.
  • Produce scheduled reports such as sickness absence monitoring, annual leave analysis, and various ad hoc reports as required.

Key Working Relationships:

  • Collaborate with other departments within EEAST and external staff from other NHS Trusts.
  • Engage with non-NHS organisations and interact with members of the public and service users as appropriate.

Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. A proactive approach and strong communication skills are essential.
