Salary: 55,000-60,000 plus car allowance
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a high-value power and utilities project. As an Agent, you will lead the site team, oversee the planning and delivery of work activities, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards. You'll act as the senior site lead, driving performance, managing resources, and ensuring programme milestones are met while maintaining strong communication with the client and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior lead on-site, managing Site Engineers, Foremen, and the wider workforce.
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental (SHE) policies, ensuring compliance and managing site incidents.
- Plan and monitor daily work activities for effective resource utilisation and milestone achievement.
- Identify and manage project variations and ensure all change management processes are followed.
- Prepare and manage key documentation, including the Construction Phase Plan, Project Execution Plan, and Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs).
- Ensure high standards of work quality and compliance with specifications, procedures, and client expectations.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Industry experience in power, utilities, or large infrastructure projects.
- 5+ years of experience in construction management roles.
- Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, CDM regulations, and SHE policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and CEMAR systems.
- SMSTS certification and a full UK driving license.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams, with a focus on collaborative and proactive problem-solving.
