We are working with a successful company who design and make products for leading retailers and companies globally. Due to continued success and growth of the business they are looking for a merchandiser to join their team. In this role you will to own and manage the inventory and forecasting for the business, ensuring stock levels and flow through the business are optimised.

Duties as Merchandiser will include:
- Responsibility for consolidating all sales forecasts, looking at sell through alongside historical sales to inform decision making
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels for the business to ensure optimum stock levels at all times, for both continuity products and seasonal lines
- Working closely with the sales team, looking at sell though, any seasonal peaks and promotions, and twerking forecasts as necessary
- Working closely with global suppliers, monitoring lead times and actioning any issues
- Raising and managing purchase orders, and processing supplier invoices
- Work with the shipping team to ensure on time delivery of all stock, resolving any issues
- Looking for opportunities to improve efficiencies and processes across your area
- Reporting on stock and inventory levels across the business
As Merchandiser you will have the following experience:
- Experience within a Merchandising, Demand Planning or Inventory Management or Supply Chain role
- Excellent numerical skills, highly commercial with a background working with consumer goods
- Experience working with global factories and suppliers
- Highly numeric, great with Excel and with strong analytical skills
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to communication effectively both internally and with external partners
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify and resolve issues
