Sonic Summary
- The Messaging Engineer position requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange (2013-2019) and Skype for Business.
- Candidates should have a solid understanding of email protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP, as well as experience with email archiving solutions and compliance.
- Knowledge of Active Directory integration, VMware, and Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) administration is desired.
- The contract lasts for 12 months with a requirement to travel to Stevenage at least 3 days per week.
- The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, offering a competitive salary of £60,000 per year.
As a messaging engineer you will have strong understanding and hands on experience of Microsoft Exchange (2013-2019) and Skype for Business.
Skills required:
- Familiarity with Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) administration (desired).
- Strong understanding of email protocols, such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP.
- Experience with email archiving solutions and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Active Directory integration with messaging systems.
- Knowledge of VMware (to the extent of working with VM Payloads) with NetApp SAN and Cohesity backups
The contract is for 12 months initially and requires travel to Stevenage for a minimum of 3 days per week.
