Sonic Summary
- The Messaging Engineer position requires a strong understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange (2013-2019) and Skype for Business.
- Candidates should have familiarity with Blackberry Enterprise Server administration, email protocols like SMTP, IMAP, and POP, as well as experience with email archiving solutions and compliance.
- Knowledge of Active Directory integration and VMware, including working with VM Payloads, is also necessary for this role.
- The contract duration is 12 months with a salary of £45,000, and candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Travel to Stevenage for a minimum of 3 days per week is required, and national security clearance is mandatory, which may take up to 18 weeks to obtain.
As a messaging engineer you will have strong understanding and hands on experience of Microsoft Exchange (2013-2019) and Skype for Business.
Skills required:
- Familiarity with Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) administration (desired).
- Strong understanding of email protocols, such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP.
- Experience with email archiving solutions and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Active Directory integration with messaging systems.
- Knowledge of VMware (to the extent of working with VM Payloads) with NetApp SAN and Cohesity backups
The contract is for 12 months initially and requires travel to Stevenage for a minimum of 3 days per week.
