JOB- NDT Level 2 TechnicianLOCATION – Hemel HempsteadTERM- PermanentWe are seeking a dedicated NDT Technician on a permanent basis with experience in the engineering/manufacturing industry. Your primary responsibility will be to perform Non-Destructive Testing using Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant methods while supporting overall quality assurance initiatives. NDT TechnicianResponsibilities:
  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant methods, analyze results, and compile reports.
  • Detect and assess defects, ensuring accurate interpretation of test data.
  • Complete and document inspection reports, presenting findings as required.
  • Support compliance efforts by participating in customer and industry audits.
  • Conduct control checks and maintain accurate records of all inspections.
  • Coordinate calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to industry-specific standards and prime specifications.
  • Apply Lean methodologies in line with continuous improvement initiatives and quality requirements.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
  • Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting, preferably in aerospace or a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in NDT with the ability to provide verifiable work history.
  • Must have experience/certification with EN4179
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in NDT inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to process improvement.
  • Proficiency in applying Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant inspection techniques.
  • Capability to achieve self-certification and quality stamp authorization after the qualifying period.
  • Solid understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
