Are you experienced in drafting and managing contracts, negotiating terms, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks in commercial agreements? ??

Experience in defence, aerospace, or government-related contracts is a plus, but not essential. Here's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a leading defence company dedicated to the security of the UK and its allies.

About the Role:

Join us as a Principal Contracts Officer in a role that places you at the heart of the UK's defence industry. You'll play a vital role in driving business strategy, securing new contracts, and maximising business opportunities through strategic planning. Be part of the complete contract lifecycle-from bidding and contract delivery to negotiating terms and ensuring compliance with MoD contracting structures. ??

You'll also:

  • Draft key agreements such as loan, licence, and NDAs
  • Manage and build relationships with customers
  • Provide leadership to your team and effective communication with stakeholders
  • Report progress to senior management and ensure compliance across all agreements
What We're Looking For:

? Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and agreeing on contracts and agreements? Experience supporting business strategy and winning new work? Ability to draft confidentiality, loan, licence, and NDA agreements? Knowledge of defence, aerospace, or government industries is advantageous? Familiarity with MoD structures, DEFCONs, and QDCs is a plus
