About the Role:
Actio Recruitment is assisting our electronics client in Stevenage with their search for a skilled SMT Operator. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for someone with experience in Surface Mount Technology operations. The role involves setting up and operating SMT machines, performing quality checks, and ensuring high-quality electronic assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate SMT machinery for production.- Inspect SMT components for quality and consistency.- Perform routine maintenance on SMT equipment.- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing goals.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in SMT operating is highly preferred.- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
