My client is a successful, growing company specialising in network design implementation and support, including;

  • network infrastructure (wired and wireless);
  • data centre infrastructure; and
  • cyber security, firewalls, etc.

The company was established in 2000 and has grown consistently ever since.They currently have 56 employees split primarily between sales staff and engineers operating from their offices in Kimpton, Hertfordshire.

They are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telesales Executive to support the marketing team by following up on leads generated from various marketing campaigns, including exhibitions, email campaigns, and social media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to engage potential customers to qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Follow-Up: Contact and qualify leads generated from a variety of marketing campaigns, including but not limited to exhibitions, email campaigns, social media campaigns, and other lead generation activities.
  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport with prospects through phone calls, providing information about our products/services, and identifying their needs and pain points.
  • Lead Qualification: Evaluate leads to determine their potential value and suitability for the sales team, ensuring only high-quality leads are passed on.
  • Data Management: Accurately record and update lead information in the CRM system, ensuring data is current and complete.
  • Appointment Setting:Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads, coordinating between the prospect and the sales representative.
  • Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements based on interactions with leads.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on lead status, call outcomes, and any insights gained during interactions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on company products/services, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to effectively communicate with prospects.

Person specification:

Experience in relation to any of the responsibilities set out above would be an advantage but is not essential.Training in relation to the specific functions will be provided.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence to proficiently use CRM software and other marketing tools (to be taught).

  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
