Verification and Certification Lead

MBDA is offering a unique opportunity for a Verification and Certification Lead to join our exceptional Integration and Validation (Systems Engineering) team in the Electronic Engineering Function!

Job Title: Verification and Certification Lead

Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience 

Location: Stevenage (we may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 3 days per week on-site, due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

As the Verification and Certification Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless assurance and compliance strategies, while also taking on some project management responsibilities to contribute to the cost-effective and timely delivery of task packages.

• Lead the verification and certification process to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.
• Manage and report on work packages, ensuring efficient progress and effective communication.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to determine and implement proving process methodologies for environmental, EMC, and electronic functionality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the integration and validation processes.

What we're looking for from you:

• Proven experience in the verification and certification process is essential.
• Expertise in the proving process associated methodologies, including environmental, EMC, and electronic functionality.
• Previous experience in managing and reporting on work packages.
• High degree of self-motivation and drive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong appreciation of electronics technologies and the product range designed and produced by Electronic Engineering (UK) is advantageous.
• Record of accomplishment in on-time delivery with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
