The Role

Our client is currently looking for a Workshop Manager to spearhead production within a market leading manufacturing site. The successful candidate will have experience in retail and events display manufacture / installations with experience working in CNC, bench and sprayshops.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To manage the workshop, operations and staff.
  • To plan production two weeks in advance and ensure staff capabilities and delivery of the product to company standards.
  • To be able to communicate and resource between internal departments.
  • To ensure quality meets customer specification.
  • To be involved in daily/weekly briefings/meetings that clearly outline margins across the production team and to ensure the installation team is supported.
  • To maintain stock levels for ongoing projects.
  • To be apart of the H&S team ensuring safety among staff and projects.

The Candidate

  • Must have prior experience in retail display manufacture/installations.
  • Technical, CNC, bench and sprayshop experience is desirable.
  • Adverse in project management tools and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • To be able to motivate and promote a positive attitude amongst the team during busy periods.
