About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Sprayer to join our team. As a Furniture Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing furniture pieces to a high standard using spray painting techniques. You will work with a variety of materials, ensuring quality and attention to detail in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces of furniture for spraying, including sanding and priming.
- Mixing and applying different types of finishes such as lacquer, paint, varnish, and stain.
- Operating and maintaining spray equipment and tools.
- Ensuring consistency in colour and finish across all pieces.
- Conducting final inspections to ensure quality control.
- Working with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Furniture Sprayer, ideally with both wood and other materials.
- Strong knowledge of spray techniques, including high-gloss and matte finishes.
- Ability to mix and match colours effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
