A fantastic independent prep school in Hertfordshire, close to North London is seeking a Head of Learning Support for January 2025. This is a part time role (0.7) covering maternity leave for a year.

The Head is seeking to appoint an energetic and committed Head of Learning Support who is capable of developing effective strategies which will enable SEN pupils to achieve their full potential. The successful applicant will be a well-qualified and experienced teacher who is confident, engaging and resilient. You will have the ability to motivate your team and pupils. Applicants will ideally hold QTS and OCR Level 7 or the NASENCO or equivalent, but this is not essential. You must have experience of working with children on the SEN register, be experienced in implementing a wider range of strategies to help pupils with learning difficulties and liaising with external professionals.
