Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer - Hertfordshire - Up to £40,000 Basic Salary OTE £50,000 Per Annum

Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer Package Overview:

  • Basic Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Up to £50,000 OTE (including overtime, on-call and commission)
  • Full-Time, Permanent Role
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Taking part in on-call work on a rotational basis
  • Covering North London and Hertfordshire
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Company Overview:

An award-winning fire and security company, currently experiencing significant growth, is looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join their team.

Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, repair and fault-finding of Fire alarms, Emergency Lights and Fire Extinguishers
  • Covering multiple sites in North London and Hertfordshire
  • Working with a range of manufacturers and fire detection equipment
  • Taking part in out of hours on-call work on a rotational basis

Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer Required Experience:

  • Experience in servicing, fault-finding, and small works on a variety of fire alarms and extinguishers
  • Knowledge of conventional, addressable fire alarm systems
  • Familiarity with major brands of panels such as Morley, Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Gent, Notifier, VESDA and more
  • Experience with fire extinguishers and emergency lighting
  • Understanding of NSI codes of practice and current industry standards
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and good time-management
