Duties

The Oracle Employee Superuser is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs focused on Oracle software applications and modules within an organization including supporting newly acquired businesses in the transition to Oracle as the HR system. This role involves creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and supporting users to ensure efficient and effective use of Oracle systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle applications and demonstrate excellent communication and instructional skills.

  1. Training Development and Delivery:
  2. Design, develop, and deliver training sessions for Oracle applications, including modules such Oracle HCM, and other relevant Oracle software.
  3. Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions tailored to diverse learning styles and levels of expertise.
  4. Customize training sessions to fit specific business needs and workflows.
  5. Content Creation:
  6. Develop user-friendly training materials, including manuals, guides, e-learning modules, job aids, and other instructional resources.
  7. Continuously update training materials in response to software updates, process changes, and feedback from end-users.
  8. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  9. User Support and Troubleshooting:
  10. Provide hands-on support and assistance to users post-training to ensure adoption and comfort with Oracle applications.
  11. Identify and address common user issues and develop FAQ resources to improve learning retention.
  12. Act as a liaison between users and IT support to help resolve technical issues.
  13. Evaluation and Reporting:
  14. Assess and document user proficiency through quizzes, assessments, and feedback forms to measure training effectiveness.
  15. Gather and analyse training feedback to continuously improve content and delivery methods.
  16. Prepare reports on training activities, user competency, and areas for further improvement.
  17. Collaboration and Communication:
  18. Work closely with Oracle technical teams, project managers, and functional leads to understand software updates, configurations, and system integrations.
  19. Work collaboratively with newly acquired business stakeholders to agree and deliver a plan to engage and support new users with confidence and skills to use Oracle.
  20. Partner with HR, department heads, and project teams to schedule training, determine user needs, and coordinate ongoing education to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  21. Lead HRIS-related Projects, such as new module implementations, upgrades, system enhancements or acquisition integrations.

Person Specification

3+ years of experience in training, with a focus on Oracle applications or similar ERP systems.

Proficiency in Oracle applications (Oracle HCM, Oracle Cloud, etc.).

Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
