Are you an experienced Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Senior NOC Engineer to join a thriving team, delivering world-class customer service and technical expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a prestigious organisation and play a key role in maintaining and improving critical network infrastructure.

About the Role: As a Senior NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support, managing incidents, changes, and service fulfilment processes. You will serve as a technical lead, ensuring swift resolution of issues while mentoring junior engineers. This role requires expertise in routing, switching, security, and wireless technologies.

You will also work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure high service levels are maintained, proactively seeking improvements to enhance the customer experience. This role offers the chance to develop professionally while making a significant impact within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical escalation point, handling complex incidents and requests.

  • Manage multiple tickets effectively, ensuring timely updates and resolution.

  • Work within strict service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain service excellence.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including knowledge bases and network topologies.

  • Oversee customer Configuration Management Database (CMDB) accuracy.

  • Lead and participate in proactive service improvements.

  • Manage critical, scheduled, and emergency patching requirements.

  • Contribute to post-incident reports and technical assessments.

  • Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers.

  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide remote support when required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, security, and wireless).

  • Minimum CCNP Certification or equivalent industry experience.

  • Experience with Cisco DNA Centre and security products (ASA, ISE, FirePower, SNA, Umbrella).

  • ITIL/Change management process experience.

  • Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.

  • Passion for technology and continuous learning.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvements.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Confidence, approachability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with ACI, FirePower, and Cisco Wireless technologies.

  • Additional CCNP disciplines or other relevant certifications.
