Systems Engineer

55.00 Per Hour Umbrella

12 Month Contract (likely to be extended)

Hertfordshire - (100% Site based)

Certain Advantage are working with a large Aerospace company, they are seeking a Systems Engineer from Spacecraft or avionic system engineering, Complex Electronic systems testing Space, Aerospace Enviroment

Skills and Experience & Knowledge:
* Current hands-on experience of writing test sequences/scripts for execution of spacecraft tests from the Central Checkout System (CCS).
* Knowledge of Elisa and JAVA would be an advantage.
* Working knowledge of TMTC Databases.

* Familiar with the Windows and Linux operating systems.
* Awareness of 'cleanroom' disciplines.
* Knowledge of system testing & Verification.
* Willing to support shifts/flexible working as required.
* Writing test sequences/scripts for execution of spacecraft systems tests including FDIR from the Central Checkout System (CCS).
* Electrical/Spacecraft Systems fault investigation and test sequence debug.
* Environmental and launch test campaigns.

Job Description: Job Summary
Preparation of test procedures, writing and debugging test sequences for Satellite system testing during ambient and environmental test campaigns. Preparing, debugging and executing complex test sequences on flight spacecraft and test benches. Providing first-line support to the test operations team and supporting non-conformance reviews in a technical capacity. Writing test reports and supporting test reviews.

Education & Training
Minimum of a degree in an Electrical Engineering related discipline or relevant experience in a similar role for 5+ years
