Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in digital services and transformation, is seeking an accomplished Director Of Infrastructure & Operations to lead their IT Infrastructure and Operations function. This senior role will define and execute the I&O strategy, ensuring it delivers significant business value through operational excellence, innovation, and transformation.

As the senior leader of Infrastructure & Operations, you will oversee key areas including infrastructure, service support, networks, servers, storage, cloud environments, end-user services, and workplace experience. Reporting to the CIO EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in aligning I&O initiatives with enterprise-wide IT and business goals, driving the digital transformation agenda while enabling a culture of innovation and agility.

 You will bring a minimum of 15 years of experience in IT or business/industry roles, including at least 10 years in leadership positions within infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing large-scale transformations, particularly in driving cloud adoption, setting up high-performing I&O teams, and embedding Agile and DevOps methodologies into operating models. Experience in building self-service infrastructure provisioning, cloud cost optimization, and managing automation frameworks is essential.

 In addition to deep technical expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and modern workplace solutions, you will have a history of leading teams through significant cultural and operational changes. Your ability to manage cross-functional relationships, negotiate with senior stakeholders, and oversee complex vendor ecosystems will be critical in ensuring the seamless delivery of infrastructure and operations capabilities. Financial management skills, including budgeting, transitioning from CapEx to OpEx models, and leveraging showback/chargeback mechanisms, will also be key aspects of the role.
