IT Programme Manager - Start 1st of April 2025 is a must - £750 per day max. - Based in Stevenage (some homeworking too) - British Citizen or ILR status only - ***paid via an Umbrella only***As the IT Programme Manager, you'll get the opportunity to:* Plan and design the IT transition/transformation aspects of an acquisition programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action* Adhere to the IT PMO 'Methodology'* Manage the programme's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses* Ensure there is allocation of common resources and skills within the programme's individual projects* Manage third party contributions to the programme* Manage communications with all stakeholders* Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects* Manage risks to the programme's successful outcome. If necessary, feed these risks into the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans* Initiate extra activities and other management interventions, wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise* Ensure that the necessary governance documentation has been completed* Report on the status of the programme - ensure each project manager or lead has produced/provided a status report for inclusion within the programme status reportWhat you'll bring?* Degree or equivalent, professional qualification advantageous (such as, MSP / PRINCE2 / AgilePM)* Minimum 5 years' IT Programme Management experience* Strong IT Programme Management experience in overseeing IT transition/transformation aspects of an acquisition* Experience overseeing Oracle ERP, Salesforce and Microsoft transition programmes or projects* Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and able to switch from strategic to tactical hands-on approach* Skilled in strategic & tactical planning and programme management* Strong Stakeholder Management* Strong communications skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels (inc. C-level)* Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and onsite/offshore teams simultaneously* Good financial and budgeting experience* Experience with vendor/contract management and negotiations
