We are delighted to be working with this company based in Stevenage. They are recruiting for a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis with options of hybrid working.
This role requires DV Security Clearance and applicants are therefore required to be a sole British Citizen.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and developing existing Linux systems across the company
- Ensuring the systems meet business needs and are secure and stable
- Work and collaborate with cross-functional departments on projects
- Being a point of contact for complex technical issues
- Management of virtualisation and storage technologies
- Help manage suppliers and equipment procurement
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in similar role supporting and developing Linux based infrastructure
- Proficient in virtualisation technologies (VMWare) and storage (NetApp)
- Experience managing and troubleshooting with RedHat
- Good networking knowledge (ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching, IP addressing)
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- British Citizen eligible for security clearance
