Integration & Systems Validation Engineer
Location: Stevenage (Relocation package available)
Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (Typically 4-5 days on-site per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Integration & Systems Validation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in testing and validating critical systems for the Air Defence domain. Reporting to the Chief Systems Proving Engineer, you'll work across system and subsystem equipment, conducting trials, fault-finding, and delivering high-quality test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute trials in collaboration with systems and design teams.
- Conduct laboratory and ground-based trials to validate systems.
- Perform diagnostics using COTS test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Support environmental testing and generate reports.
- Ensure lab safety, asset management, and configuration control.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in system integration, trials, and design proving.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 and diagnostic fault-finding.
- Ability to perform functional proving activities and maintain calibrated equipment.
