Role details:

Our client, a leading defence company, are looking for a Systems Compliance Engineer to join their team in Stevenage on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance of test equipment with relevant MIL STDs and other applicable product compliance standards
  • Demonstrating and delivering products that meet CE, UKCA, and global market compliance
  • Collaborating with external companies to complete reliability predictions
  • Conducting compliance testing and evaluation for electronics systems
  • Maintaining and modifying quality and compliance manuals






Job Requirements:

  • Experience in compliance, reliability, and quality within the defence or aerospace sector
  • Understanding of relevant MIL STDs that apply to product compliance
  • High-level knowledge of compliance and quality standards, including ISO 9001, MIL-STDs, AQAP-110 & BS EN
  • Experience with electronics compliance
  • Ability to write and modify quality and compliance manuals
  • BPSS clearance required; SC clearance may be needed
