We are looking for candidates who live within a 20-mile radius of Stevenage, Hertfordshire, due to the area that you will be covering.

Duties of the Field Based Kitchen Designer:

  • Days of work will be Monday to Friday between approximately 8:30 am and 5:00 pm in your designated area and conducting site surveys in occupied and unoccupied social housing properties (accompanied by the Site Contractor and/or Local Council Representative) - Ideally 5 - 8 house visits per day
  • Discussing design and layout options whilst adhering to gas and other safety regulations
  • Preparing kitchen layouts using Fusion 20 20 and scheduling tenants' choices
  • Servicing and developing relationships with clients
  • Project managing sites and ensuring the contractors’ orders arrive completely and on time
  • Sending Prices and uploading 'drawings’ to the company system
  • Sending reports to the Regional Manager

Experience and Skills required to fulfil the role of Field Based Kitchen Designer:

  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
  • Have experience of designing/surveying/project managing kitchens in people’s homes
  • Have experience using Fusion 20 20 software or similar
  • Have first class numeracy, literacy and organisational skills
  • Be presentable and able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
  • Be used to working to deadlines and managing own time effectively
  • Be motivated and eager to succeed within a dynamic team
  • Be a reliable team player, with a positive and flexible attitude
  • Be computer literate
