Data Analyst

My client has expanded their services and offers to meet the increased demand after doubling in size over the last few years.

They are looking for a Data Analyst, somebody to support the head of department to support on data collection and management, compliance and evaluation.

Day to day tasks include:

  • Collection, cleaning, and analysis of data across various service areas.
  • Maintain and manage databases and systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Monitor and evaluate data inputs to ensure consistent and reliable reporting.
  • Develop and produce regular reports for internal teams and external stakeholders, highlighting key outcomes and progress against targets.
  • Analyse data to assess the impact of the organisations services to clients.
  • Identify trends and patterns in the data and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Design and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of services and initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data collection methods and impact measurement tools.
  • Support the creation of reports, presentations, and case studies for external communications.
  • Assist in the development of funding proposals, ensuring they include relevant data and impact metrics.
  • Ensure all data collection and reporting practices are compliant with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in data analysis or monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience of working with large datasets and data management systems.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) and statistical analysis software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience in producing reports and providing evidence of service effectiveness.

Desirable experience:

  • Experience with qualitative research and mixed-methods evaluation.

Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or case management
