Graduate Town Planner - Stevenage

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for urban planning and development? We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Town Planner to join a highly regarded planning consultancy in Stevenage. This is the ideal position for someone looking to start their career in town planning and gain hands-on experience working with a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior planners in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
  • Assisting with site appraisals and feasibility studies.
  • Researching planning policies, local development plans, and regulations.
  • Engaging in the preparation of reports and presentations for clients.
  • Attending site visits and assisting with project management tasks.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate (or soon to graduate) with a degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software (desirable but not essential).
