This is an exciting opportunity to expand the civil litigation department in the firm as much of the work is internally generated, but there is scope to expand the client base through your own methods of networking and business development.  Senior Civil Litigation Solicitor or CILEX qualified Litigator can expect:

Senior Civil Litigation Solicitor or CILEX qualified Litigator role will include:
  • Acting for private individuals and businesses
  • Dealing with cases from start to finish striving for a favourable outcome for clients
  • Issuing court proceedings
  • Dealing with General Civil Litigation, Residential & Commercial Landlord & Tenant cases & Dilapidations
  • Mediation and dispute resolution
Senior Civil Litigation Solicitor or CILEX qualified Litigator experience and qualities required for the role
  • A minimum of 8 years PQE dealing with Civil & Property Litigation proceedings
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent knowledge of CPR, must be able to demonstrate that knowledge in interview
  • Experience of dealing with proceedings in all courts
  • Ideally have experience of residential and commercial landlord and tenant work and dilapidations - not essential
  • Must be organised and proactive in your approach 
  • Able to delegate and work in a team
  • Must have high levels of client satisfaction and keep clients well informed with the progress of their case 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experienced in mediation and dispute resolution
