Role Overview
As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing and engineering facility. Your leadership will be crucial in driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure production processes run efficiently and align with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor production and factory staff, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production, productivity, and quality objectives.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain logistics to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to transition smoothly from design to production.
  • Lead initiatives for process improvement, cost savings, and waste reduction using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Experience Required / Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Scientific, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in operations management within aerospace or a related industry.
    • Proven track record of managing production teams and driving efficiency.
    • Experience in delivering NPI or operational improvement projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
    • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and operational planning tools.
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
  • Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or similar qualifications are a plus.
