Paralegal - Property Litigation

Reed Legal are recruiting for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Property Litigation and Lease Extension team. This role offers the opportunity to support Solicitors specialising in service charges, ground rent debt recovery, commercial property litigation, breaches of covenant, and general Landlord & Tenant matters. Our client's law firm is known for providing tailored, practical, and cost-effective legal advice and representation, covering both leasehold and freehold issues.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist Solicitors in the preparation of cases related to property litigation, including residential and commercial service charges and ground rent debt recovery.
  • Help manage cases involving commercial property litigation and breaches of covenant.
  • Support the team in general Landlord & Tenant matters, ensuring all documentation and case files are accurately maintained.
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports under the supervision of Solicitors.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support in preparing for court proceedings.
  • Liaise with clients, offering administrative support and ensuring communication is maintained throughout the case process.
  • Organise and maintain case files to ensure information is kept up to date and accessible.
  • Assist in the preparation of billing and invoicing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • LLB or LLM with a desire to work in Property Litigation area of law
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably within property litigation or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles related to property law.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
