About the Mortgage Services DivisionIt focuses exclusively on providing mortgage advice. Working with all major UK lenders, they aim to simplify the homebuying process by offering tailored mortgage solutions. In addition to mortgages, they provide clients with related products such as buildings and contents insurance and mortgage protection.

The RoleDue to rapid growth since its launch in 2020, my client is looking to recruit a second Mortgage Advisor to join their team. With over 700 properties sold in 2023 across affluent areas, demand for mortgage advice continues to grow.

You'll benefit from a robust support system, including a Client Services Department that handles over 2,500 ancillary service quotes annually, as well as a network of offices generating leads. This will allow you to focus on what you do best: providing top-quality mortgage advice to high-net-worth (HNW) individuals.

This role will be based at their head office in Harpenden.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a broker
  • Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build lasting relationships
  • Experience in volume mortgage sales, particularly with HNW clients
  • Strong knowledge of the local property market and customer demographic
  • Ambitious and driven to contribute to the growth of the department
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presentation

Remuneration

  • Basic salary: £30,000 per annum
  • OTE: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 6:00pm
  • Occasional Saturday work from home (as needed)
