I am seeking a Procurement Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategies. This position offers the opportunity to lead strategic and tactical procurement activities, focusing on delivering substantial value across various indirect functions such as IT, HR, and Marketing. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will be instrumental in driving procurement objectives forward.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the procurement business partner for specified functions, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement category strategies for designated spend areas, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Lead the supplier selection process and manage performance of key suppliers to uphold quality and service standards.
  • Conduct negotiations and manage contracts with key stakeholders, aiming for optimal terms.
  • Drive the achievement of target savings and implement robust category management practices.
  • Educate and coach the organisation on key procurement processes and strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years in a dynamic operational procurement role.
  • CIPS qualification or currently pursuing, with a solid grasp of procurement best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, coach teams, and influence outcomes.
  • Strong negotiation skills and formal training in this area.
  • High proficiency in IT and data analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in Supplier Performance Management (SPM).
