  • Managing and optimising the transport network to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Leading and developing a team of planners, drivers, and operational staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport legislation, including health & safety and vehicle maintenance regulations.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and implementing digital solutions to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to enhance service delivery.
  • Managing budgets and cost control measures to improve profitability.
  • Using data-driven insights to refine transport strategies and enhance performance

Profile

  • Proven experience in managing sub contracted hauliers
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • A deep understanding of transport compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in digital transformation within the logistics sector is highly desirable.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
