Production Manager

The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading provider of Gears and Gearboxes to a range of sectors in Hertfordshire who are seeking a Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.This is an exciting opportunity to be joining a growing business who are seeking a self-motivated team player who has a strong presence and knows how to get the best out of a production function. You will have the opportunity to work with cell leaders to improve machine time efficiencies to push the work through the shop floor.The day to day duties include:

• Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production goals
• Regularly review production processes and equipment to ensure they align with industry best practices.
• Generate regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
• Develop manufacturing plans and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards

What we are looking for:

• Production Management experience within a precision engineering/gear manufacturing environment
• The ability to deploy lean manufacturing techniques to improve production performance
• Strong communicator who is developed in building teams who strive to be the best they can
• Proficient in the use of production management software and Microsoft Office Suite
