Role Overview:
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team in Bedfordshire. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, maintaining the highest safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction site team, ensuring efficient operations and productivity.
  • Oversee and coordinate all site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and workers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, site policies, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and maintain daily site reports, including progress and incident reports.
  • Manage resources, materials, and equipment effectively to ensure efficient project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, ideally at a project/site manager level.
  • Experience working with large-scale projects and managing multiple teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) 
  • First Aid at Work 
  • CSCS Card 

Location Consideration:
Ideally, our client is looking for someone centrally located to Cambridgeshire, West Suffolk, or North Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience at a site or project manager level, with a background in managing large-scale construction projects, and be hungry to develop further in their career.
