- Design aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software.
- Â Produce detailed engineering drawings to define designs.
-  Work as part of an integrated project team to ensure customers’ requirements are met.
- Â Create certification/qualification plans including QTPs and QTRs.
- An education to degree / HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering is preferable but not essential
- Â Demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials.
- Â Familiar with aerospace or similar industry composite design methodologies and best practice.
- Â Proficient in the use of CAD systems
- Â Good communication, report writing and presentation skills.
- Willing to travel to sites in the UK for design reviews when necessary (likely to be 2-3 times per year)
