Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Toolmaker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toolmaking and machining, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Operate manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure the highest quality standards in all aspects of tool production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficient in using manual and CNC machines.
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
