Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join the dynamic QA team.
As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Quality Department, ensuring the delivery of success in line with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of products.
- Perform First Article Inspection on new parts.
- Reconcile documents and ensure accuracy.
- Record and summarise quality defects.
- Utilise measuring equipment in our comprehensive inspection department.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, applying basic math and trigonometry understanding.
- Read and understand written instructions.
- Demonstrate reasoning and analytical ability to pinpoint defects.
- Connect tasks to the wider framework and see the 'big picture.'
- Quickly understand and adapt to new tasks, jobs, and technologies.
- Learn and use processes, technologies, and ideas that are continually updated.
- Work with new business, office, and information technologies.
- Understand and learn highly complex information regarding products or operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience working within similar environment (essential).
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and record quality defects.
- Analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Openness to new ideas and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with precision machining and sheet metal fabrication (preferred).
