Responsibilities:

• Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on machinery and mechanical infrastructure.
• Assisting with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical systems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Working closely with other engineering teams to ensure smooth operation of facilities.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, and compressors.
• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an engineering environment.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Hold or be prepared to work towards achieving Pressure and Confined space AP Status and other Appointments as deemed appropriate
