Role Overview
As the Staff Communications Systems Team Lead, you will manage a talented team across the sites. You'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge space solutions while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence in communications systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for communication systems engineering.
  • Manage team resourcing, recruitment, mentoring, and performance.
  • Lead systems engineering efforts, including requirements management, design, testing, and integration.
  • Engage with customers and subcontractors to deliver verified flight equipment.


Ideal Candidate

  • Essential:
    • 15+ years in systems engineering within the satellite/telecommunications industry.
    • 5+ years as a lead systems engineer/architect in telecommunications projects.
    • Strong understanding of RF telecommunications technologies.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience managing teams of 20+.
    • Background in satellite payloads, ECSS standards, or LEO communications systems.
    • Expertise in phased array antennas, digital signal processing, or optical technologies.
