JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To oversee and manage multiple clientprojects. You are responsible for managing all aspects of theprojectfrom receipt to completion. This will include:
  • Receiving the design brief, providing quotes andproductionlead times as appropriate.You will be involved in initialprojectmeetings where you will need to offer and discussprojectdirection. You may need to provide quotes to supply the work and will need to estimateproductionlead times on print work. Communication with the client throughoutproductionis key as well as providing constant feedback on how theprojectis progressing.
  • Work with external suppliers to outsource work.Certain work will need to be outsourced, so you will need to manage work through other suppliers. Quality, budget and timelines will need to be managed. Visit suppliers to ensure goods being produced are to the specification and quality expected.
  • Provide a full briefing to theproductionteam.Daily and weekly meetings with theproductionteam to brief inprojects and setprojecttargets will be required. Theproductioneam must have a full understanding of what is expected of them.
  • Attend site surveys and installations.On occasion it may be beneficial for you to attend the installation to ensure the final part of theprojectruns smoothly.
  • Staff Management and training. Management of staff and keeping morale high at all times. To provide or organise training to staff members and to keep this well documented.
  • Oversee the Quality Control of products throughout each stage of theproduction.QC of goods is vital to make sure we meet the high demands of our clients. All work must be QC'd and signed off before it can be passed on to Dispatch.
  • Briefing inprojectdetail to Dispatch and Logistics.Making sure finished goods are sent to packing in good time to meet collection requirements. Clear discussions with the packing team to ensure they're aware of how goods need to be packed and that all allocated parts are ready.
  • Budget control/management and HOST admin.Making sureprojects are in line to make profit and within the budget quoted.
  • Order materials and organisation of stock control.Correct materials to be ordered to specification and fit for purpose. Stock levels of material must be managed and readily available.

SKILLS

  • The candidate must have experience in Retail Display manufacture/installations and should have at least 5 Years experience working in a workshop.
  • Experience in working/knowledge within each Department (technical, CNC, Bench, Sprayshop) is advantageous.
  • Experience usingProjectManagement tools / scheduling tools is a must.
  • The candidate must be sufficient in using spreadsheet software such as Excel or Numbers.
  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills and respond to clients in a professional manner.
