Graduate Quality Assurance (QA) Officer - Hertfordshire

Walker Cole International is searching for a graduate to join a Biopharmaceutical business based in Hertfordshire. Our client is looking for an ambitious individual who is motivated to begin their career as a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer working specifically with Batch Release in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.

Key responsibilities of a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer include:

  • Checking of final product quality and batch documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Draft, review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for continuous improvement within the business
  • Facilitate and monitor change controls, investigating deviations and implementing Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs)

A successful Quality Assurance (QA) Officer will demonstrate:

  • Prior experience within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or another Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and willingness to learn
  • A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or another subject relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
