The Role

This vacancy is for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a dedicated team with two others. This role is ideal for someone with comprehensive payroll processing experience looking to work within a bureau setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practical & Technical: Process over 100 monthly payrolls, manage SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, maintain tax documentation, set up new starters, process leavers, and ensure all RTI and Auto-Enrolment deadlines are met.
  • Managing Communications: Confidently liaise with colleagues, clients, HMRC, and third parties
  • Personal Work Management: Prioritise workload and collaborate with the payroll team.
  • Client Engagement: Address client queries and build effective relationships.
  • Developing Self and Others: Stay updated with payroll legislation and undertake research/ad hoc projects.
  • Working Arrangement: Enjoy a hybrid working model with 2 days in the office and the remaining days from home. Flexible hours to suit between 9am - 3pm, a minimum of 4 days a week.

  • Full Payroll processing experience
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Professional communication skills via email and telephone
  • Team player, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Have a suitable home working environment (go out to work option available)
