Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Pharmacy Dispenser to join a dynamic team at an NHS hospital in Hertfordshire. This role is within the Outpatients Pharmacy Department, and we're looking for a reliable and experienced individual to join them on a part-time basis.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to outpatients, ensuring that the pharmacy operates smoothly, and delivering excellent service to patients. This is an immediate start position for a 3-month minimum contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescriptions and ensuring accuracy of medications.
• Managing stock levels and reordering where necessary.
• Assisting with patient queries and providing medication advice under supervision.
• Supporting the pharmacy team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant working environment.
• Adhering to NHS guidelines and standards in all areas of work.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar pharmacy dispensing role, community dispensing experience is fine 
• Good knowledge of dispensing practices and medications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

• 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday, 5 days per week).
• No breaks during the 4-hour shift.

Pay Rate:

• £14 - £17 per hour (paid via Umbrella company).
