A dynamic and excellent independent prep school in Hertfordshire (commutable from NW London) are searching for a KS1 class teacher from January 2025. This is a full time role covering maternity leave.

This independent prep school strives to offer a stimulating and nurturing environment in which children can learn and develop. Teachers are friendly and caring, sharing best practice and ensuring every pupil achieves their full potential. Learning outside the classroom is encouraged through extracurricular clubs and trips.

The Head is searching for an excellent classroom practitioner who has experience of teaching a KS1 or lower KS2 class and has the ability to work with colleagues from other subjects and classes to enrich the curriculum. The successful candidate will have integrity, passionate and be approachable. You should be a positive role model for all of your pupils and help to ensure every child enjoys attending school. The role can either be for Year 2 or Year 3.
