As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring learning continues smoothly when teachers are absent. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising primary school students across various subjects and year groups.

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain engaged in their work.

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.

• Providing basic support to students as required.

• Completing essential administrative tasks such as taking attendance and reporting incidents.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience working with primary-aged children or a relevant degree qualification.

• Confidence in leading a class of up to 30 students.

• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

• A positive, adaptable attitude and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting is beneficial but not essential.

• Competitive pay rates: £100 - £110 per day (depending on experience).
