Job Description: Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee the Mechanical installation on a £6.5m shell and core laboratory building based in Stevenage. Reporting to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the Mechanical installation work on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes to the project scope.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to the electrical team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- CSCS / SMSTS
- Proven experience working as an Mechanical Site Supervisor on commercial, industrial or life science projects.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, installation practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
This is a contract role until October.
