The role is looking for someone with a strong Facilities Manager / Project Manager background who has mechanical & electrical background too.

Hourly Rate: £36.67 per hour

Contract Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)

Facilities Project Manager Job Description:

The Companies Facilities is seeking an exceptional Facilities Project Manager to join our dynamic team and drive a range of exciting projects. With a strong focus on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) aspects, you will play a vital role in delivering construction and facilities projects across our UK sites.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage facilities projects, ensuring optimal (M&E) system integration and performance. Oversee project development from initial design stages to final delivery, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Manage projects ranging from £50k to multi-million-pound budgets, focusing on M&E infrastructure. - Drive collaboration among engineers, designers, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.

Conduct thorough following process's and site inspections, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Implement robust project management methodologies, including risk assessment and mitigation.

Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, executives, and directors, providing regular project updates.

Utilise your problem-solving skills to address complex M&E challenges and ensure timely project completion.

Key Requirements:

Extensive experience in construction and facilities project management, preferably in a defence or highly regulated industry.

Exceptionally strong M&E background, with a proven track record in managing Mechanical and Electrical systems.

Excellent project management and leadership skills, able to motivate and guide multidisciplinary project teams.

Proficiency in project planning, cost estimation, and financial management for large-scale projects.

Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficient in using relevant software and tools for project management and facilities design.
