We're recruiting for anElectrically Biased Project Supervisorto work for one of the largest FM companies in the UK based at a static building in Stevenage. This position isNights Onlyand on a fixed term contract.

You will need experience managing projects and delivering works until the handover and close out phase of the project. You will also be required to have experience with project management methodologies and tech spec experience

The business you will be working for are considered to be one of the biggest FM companies in the UK who also operate throughout the rest of Europe and into America. As a business they employ over 38,000 people across 180 locations. Initially started in 1994 they originally set up in the United States and have grown to become one of the most recognizable businesses in facilities management, construction, industrial and energy infrastructure across building services.

The client on site are again a well known pharmaceutical healthcare business. You will be based on the static site in Stevenage. Originally the client was founded in India and has been the supplier and manufacturer of various medicines and vaccines we use in todays society.

Job Responsibilities for a Project Supervisor:

  • Project Supervision: Oversee all aspects of project works, from planning to completion.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and specifications.
  • Safety Oversight: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any issues promptly to keep the project on track.

Experience required as a Project Supervisor:

  • Qualifications:Black or Gold Card is idealfor this position with the ideal candidate from an electrical background
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Project Supervisor, particularly in roof replacement or similar construction projects.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality control procedures in construction.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders and reporting progress accurately.
