The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Stevenage. This role is perfect for a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in leading complex engineering projects. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. This is a key leadership role in a dynamic and challenging environment, with the opportunity to work on high-impact engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing large-scale engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Developing detailed project plans, setting timelines, and defining scope and objectives.
• Managing resources, budgets, and schedules to ensure project delivery within agreed parameters.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing risks, resolving issues, and adapting plans as necessary to achieve project goals.
• Leading project teams, coordinating with internal departments, clients, and contractors.
• Monitoring project progress, preparing reports, and presenting updates to stakeholders.
• Driving continuous improvement in project management processes and best practices.

• Managing the MWE project and associated delivery team across multiple locations. The Senior Project Manager will be expected to ensure the cost effective and timely delivery of all contractual obligations and service provisions. Good project and people management skills are essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, ideally in the engineering or construction sectors.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing multi-million-pound projects.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes.
• A relevant degree in engineering or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certification).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex project challenges.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Willing to travel
• A thorough knowledge of project services within the UK.
• Have good knowledge within the construction or FM industry.
