Quality Technician - Food Production

Location: Stevenage

Shift Pattern: 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days & Nights)

Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Days) & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Nights)

Environment: Chilled (Cold Storage)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations

Document and report any deviations from quality standards, taking corrective action where necessary

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality checks and processes

Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations

Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment

Support internal and external audits as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Quality Technician or similar role, ideally in the food production industry

Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards

Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills

Comfortable working in a cold/chilled environment

Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
