Are you an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in an inclusive and locally-sized academy in Stevenage? If you're passionate about inspiring students and have a dedication to fostering their love for the humanities, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with the delivery of lessons across Geography lessons and support across Hums where required
- Lesson's are already planned with scaffolding also available, teachers happy to plan their own lessons and take on full teaching responsibilities are also encouraged to apply.
- Teach a range of subjects at KS3 within the humanities department.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the humanities curriculum.
Requirements:
- UK teaching/ Education experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching humanities.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
